I am so honored to have received my very first EVER award for casting. The Hamilton Behind The Camera Award for casting LEE DANIELS', THE BUTLER. To be recognized for doing what you love to do, is a really good feeling. The awards ceremony was Sunday, November 10th at the Wilshire Ebel Theatre. It was my first red carpet and press. I think I did okay. My big brother, sister and one of my very good friends were there to support me. I was extremely nervous but in a good way. I am so grateful to have been apart of such an amazing project. 

Today is 7 weeks post op and the time is flying. I'm up and about. I've gone back to work and it's healing nicely I think. Although my face is a little swollen on the right side, I'm hoping that will eventually go back to normal.
